A monitoring visit to Jilava Penitentiary took place between 29.02 – 2.03.2012. The team included Mihai Popescu – GRADO and Silviu Dumitru – Penal Reform Justice Foundation. Interviews were carried with the following persons: 4 members of the Commission for individualization of punishment and 10 persons deprived of liberty, 10 penitentiary files were analyzed with the agreement of the persons deprived of liberty.
