The Restriction Order- Two Years Of Existence

On March 4, at the Romanian Senate took place the event   The Restriction Order- two years of existence. The senators were invited to support the organizers actions against domestic violence.

This event was a part of a series of actions taken last year in the project The Restriction Order – legal and advocacy campaign conducted by the Association Transcena and partners.

The message that organizers want to convey is that civil society is concerned with the cause of women victims of domestic violence and that a strong partnership with Parliament’s representatives is not only supporting a cause, but is better to have laws promoting safety of the women.

 The project Restriction Order- legal advocacy campaign is implemented in partnership with the Association Transcena and with ALEG Association, Association of Women against Violence – Artemis, Front Association, Romanian Group for Human Rights- GRADO, East European Institute Reproductive Health, Anais Association, Association of Curriculum Development Centre and Gender Studies- Filia, Foundation Partnership for Equality Center, Sensiblu Foundation, Association’s Romnja and is funded by the Open Society Foundation.
