Representatives of the academic institutions and of the non-governmental organizations active in the field of the execution of the custodial and non-custodial sentences presented their proposals for the improvement of the conditions in the prisons in Romania.
Increasing in the number of days that detainees earn for the activities carried was one of the the solutions proposed by the representative of the GRADO Association.
Participants were representatives of: APADOR –CH, Prison Fellowship Romania, National Beaureax for Citizen Advice, Faculty of Social Work Bucharest, National Penitentiary Administration, National Probation Service, Romanian Ombudsman, members of the Parliament.
The debate was organised by deputy Adriana Saftoiu, member of the commission and moderated by Violeta Alexandru.
